Rather than a simple straight glue line, contrasting walnut and maple are joined in an interlocking pattern that becomes part of the design itself. The natural light maple and rich dark walnut create a striking contrast while allowing the grain and character of each hardwood to remain the focus.
 
Choose between two individually handcrafted styles:
 
Paddle Board — approximately 9¼" × 14½" × 3/4"
A rectangular paddle-style serving board with an integrated handle and interlocking walnut and maple design.
Round Board — approximately 8⅝" × 14" × ⅞"

Each board is made from the board up in our Lawrenceburg, Kentucky woodshop, carefully shaped, sanded smooth and finished to bring out the natural beauty of the hardwood.

These are the actual boards pictured. There is ONE of each style available. These are not made-to-order pieces — once a style sells, it's gone.
 
Because these are handcrafted from natural hardwood, variations in grain, knots and coloration are part of the character of the wood and make each piece truly one of a kind.
