Meet The Goats

(A.K.A. The Real Managers of This Farm)

Welcome to the section of the website where we pretend we're in charge...but let's be honest, the goats run this place.

Some of them are sweet, some are sassy, some think they're professional escape artists, and ALL of them believe they deserve treats 24/7.

We're still adding everyone to this page - because goats don't like posing for pictures and some refuse to stand still unless bribed.

Udder photos will be added as out ladies freshen, because they also prefer dramatic timing.

Check back often...you never know which diva, troublemaker or future milk queen will appear next!

CombsKiddnAround Lainey Jane

Sweet, Loving, and just the right amount of sass.  Lainey Jane is our goofy girl who keeps us laughing and always wants cuddles - as long as the treat bucket is involved.  She's gentle, people-oriented, and full of personality.  A total sweetheart with a funny streak we adore.

Wide Acres Smoky Meadow

"Meadow"

Meadow is our quiet little wallflower -- gentle, sweet, and happiest watching everything from the sidelines.  She has a calm, easygoing personality and a soft nature that makes her incredibly loveable.  Not flashy, not loud, just a steady sweet girl with a wonderful temperament.

Mimis Kids Ruthie

Ruthie is Lainey's mama, and she passed down all the best traits - sweet, loving, and a total baby snuggler.  She's gentle and mature with just a touch of goofiness, but far less sass than her daughter.  Ruthie has a calm, mom-energy vide that makes her a favorite in the herd and a steady, affectionate presence on the farm.

Salt River Run Come on Eilleen

"Ellie"

Ellie is our quirky girl - quiet most of the time but capable of yelling loud enough to alert the whole county if she thinks snacks are late.  She's a total food lover, sweet-natured, and proudly lead-trained...even if occasionally she stops to protest imaginary problems.  She's also a profession "button plucker" so watch your hoodie strings around her.  A lovable goof with plenty of charm.

Mimis Kids V is for Vendatta

"CeCe"

Quiet, sweet, nosey, and absolutely unafraid of anything...except maybe meeting new people (she needs a minute to decide if you're worthy).  She's a total beauty and fully away of it, carrying herself with that "I know I'm stunning" confidence.

Timid at first, but once she warms up, she loves attention - on her terms, of course.  Curious, elegant, and a little mysterious, Cece is a true standout in the herd.

Rustic Roots Sapphire

"Star"

Star LOVES food - like, absolutely cannot resist it - and will argue with you like a seasoned professional if she thinks she deserves more (she always does).  She's sweet, quirky, and coming into her own with a perfect mix of sass and charm.

Stubborn as a mule and unfamiliar with the concept of "no," yet surprisingly sensitive and soft hearted.  Star is a little firecracker with a big personality, and she knows exactly how to shine.

Salt River Run CIM Calliope

"Callie"

Callie isn't just part of the herd...she runs the spotlight.  This girl is full of sass, spunk, and pure love, and she never meets a stranger - she greets everyone like they've specifically arrived to admire her (which, honestly they have).

She is a professional show-stealer, a drama queen when things don't go her way, and the closest thing to a dog trapped in a goat's body.  Callie throws adorable temper tantrums, loves food with her whole soul, and keeps us laughing nonstop.

Funny, adorable and unforgettable -- Callie is the main character, and she knows it.

Salt River Run El Simple Man

"Graham"

Don't let the name full you - there is nothing simple about Graham.  This boy is flamboyant, extravagant, full of attitude and believes the entire farm exists solely to admire him.  He argues like a lawyer, struts like a runway model, and loves the ladies with Olympic-level dedication - especially when he's not busy peeing on himself to impress them.

Super lovable, ridiculously dramatic, and the undeniable star of the show, Graham is a whole experience wrapped in one buck.

Mimis Kids Cardinal Sin

"Pogo"

Pogo is our youngest buck and gives off full teenage vibes - quiet, sweet, a little awkward, and only a gentleman most of the time.  He likes pets strictly on his own terms and can be a bit timid when meeting new people.

Bunt once he decides you're cool, he's all heart.  A soft boy with a gentle spirit... and just enough "buck attitude" to remind you he's growing up.

Daisy

Sweet, loving, and convinced every meal is her last - she will absolutely knock you over over for food and then act like she hasn't eaten in days.  Her yell is impressively loud, though she does have an inside-voice  version when she remembers.  She's got a little sass, startles easily, and her dramatic reactions keep us laughing daily.

Jewel (Flicker)

Resident tattle-tale queen - if someone even thinks about misbehaving, she's the first to report it.  She's dramatic about EVERYTHING, from snack time to stepping over a stick like it's a life-or-death obstacle.  Super sweet...but will absolutely flick her head around like she's filing a complaint with management, hence the nickname Flicker.

Jewel loves attention, thrives on drama, and somehow makes even the smallest inconvenience look like an Oscar-worthy performance.

Mary, Molly, Susie - "The Poplets"

These three come as a matched set:  sweet, sassy, loud, and permanently hungry.  The poplets would love to be strictly indoor barn goats- they do not like coming outside unless snacks are involved (and even then its a negotiation).

They love every kind of food, yell in perfect surround sound, and travel as a trio like a tiny goat girl-gang.  Always dramatic, always hilarious, and always ready for their next meal.

Lily

Permanently glued to her momma's hip and screams with the kind of power that could shatter windows.  She's sweet and loves pets, but she is not a pushover - she will absolutely stand her ground.  Farm raised, full of quirks, and extremely picky about her snacks.  Lily is equal parts adorable and dramatic.

Rebel

Flashy, pretty, and...let's just say her strengths are not academic.  She's quiet, sweet, and likes to butt things just to see what happens (but not people).  Abdoslutely does her own thing, follows zero rules, and lives her best life beautifully clueless.

Oreo

Small, sweet, hilarious, and...not exactly the brightest crayon in the box.  She absolutely LOVES food and will bulldoze big goats to get it -small but mighty is her whole personality.  Sometimes she understands what's going on, sometimes she absolutely does not, but she's adorable either way.

Juliet

Jewel's sister and definitely shares the family talent for drama and tattling.  She loves babies and proudly serves as the barn's resident babysitter, keeing everyone in line (whether they like it or not).

She doesn't take attitude from any goat, but she's also funny, quirky, and incredibly sweet when she wants attention -which is always.  Lives for pets, baby duty, and reporting every minor incident straight to management.

Belle

Our newest retained baby, and she is very aware she's special.  Daughter of Jewel and Pogo, she inherited ALL the drama and ALL the sweetness.

She absolutely loves a lap and is only truly happy when she's being held - princess treatment only, please.  If she doesn't get her way?  She will scream like a full-blown banshee until someone fixes it.

A tiny diva with a big voice and an even bigger heart.

Luna

Luna may be tiny, but she packs BIG attitude in a small, adorable body.  She knows how to get things done (usually through chaos), and she's equal parts mischievous, loving, funny, and downright silly.

Watch you clothes, goat tails, and fingers - she loves to bite ALL of them likes it's her hobby.  She's an extreme food lover, a troublemaker in disguise, and a total sweetheart when she's not causing mayhem.

A little goat with a HUGE personality.

Maple

Luna's sister - the nice one.  She's still mischievous and playful (because genetics), but she's gentle, quiet, and incredibly friendly with everyone.

She loves babies, snacks, treats and being part of whatever's happening...just without the chaos her sister prefers.  Maple is the soft, sweet balance to Luna's tiny tornado energy, and she wins hearts everywhere she goes.

Buckshot

The old man of the farm - our very first buck and a true veteran sire.  He's quiet, polite, friendly, the kind of gentleman who minds his business...until the ladies show up.  Then everyone else suddenly remembers he's still very much in charge.

Despite his senior status, he's a total goofball with a soft heart and a calm presence.  Buckshot is the wise old buck who built this herd and still runs things when it counts.

Whiskey

Calm, friendly, and.... let's just say not the brightest bulb in the barn.  He's basically the goat version of Dopey from the Seven Dwarf's - lovable, cheerful, and always a half-second behind everyone else.

He's a total ladies' man though, with a soft heart and a sensitive soul.  Good natured, gentle, and endlessly sweet, Whiskey brings goofy charm to the herd without even trying.

Nigerian/Pygmy Cross Does

Skittles - The herd Queen

Skittles runs this farm.  Period.  She's stubborn, sweet, loving, and fully aware she's all that and then some.  She'll sass you right back if you sass her first, and when it comes to feeding time?  Just throw the food at her and step aside.  Beneath the queen attitude, she's incredibly kind, gentle, and the heart of the herd.

Thelma

Sassy, sweet, and...let's just say she's not winning any goat IQ competitions.  She loves attentions, talks back with full attitude, and has a habit of acting like she understood what you said even when she absolutely did not.  Despite the chaos, she's incredibly loving and one of the sweetest girls on the farm.

Louise

Thelma's sister, and they definitely share the same personality...and IQ level.  She's convinced she's second in command, mostly through enthusiastic cheerleading and emotional support.

She has a tiny, quiet yell, the sweetest heart, and will steal your love in about 0.2 seconds.  Super sweet, super loving, and impossible not to adore.

Pippa

Dances to the beat of her own drum and refuses to get involved in herd politics.  She's sweet, funny, quirky and usually quiet - but when she does decide to yell, everyone hears it.  A big personality wrapped up in an introverted little goat, Pippa prefers vibes over drama and marches proudly to her own rhythm.

Willow

Small but mighty with WAY more personality than her size suggests.  She dreams of queendom, but the herd hasn't quite promoted her yet - mostly because she's tiny.  Still, she refuses to back down from anyone and carries herself like royalty.  She's quiet, loves attention, and has the confidence of a goat twice her size.  She's got it, so she flaunts it!
