Welcome to the Woodshop — Where Sawdust is a Food Group
Here at Combs Kiddin Around Farm, our woodshop is where the magic happens…
and by “magic,” we mean:
power tools,
questionable coffee habits,
goats trying to supervise,
and more sawdust than any human should legally inhale.
From serving trays to soap holders, shadow boxes to milk stands, each piece is made right here on our farm in Lawrenceburg, KY.
What We Build (Besides Character)
Cedar Soap Holders
Hand-cut, sanded, tung-oiled, and absolutely fed up with being called “just a soap dish.”
Serving Trays
Perfect for charcuterie, Christmas cookies, or carrying snacks away from tiny human or goat thieves.
Cutting Boards
Food grade hardwood boards that look fancy enough for Instagram but durable enough for real-life kitchens. We also have decorative cutting boards.

Charcuterie Boards
Ideal for meats, cheeses, grapes, crackers, cookies, or whatever snacks you can hide from your kids (or goats).

Sublimated Signs With Easels
Because sometimes you need decor that stands up on its own..literally. Customizable and perfect for logo for a guaranteed show stopper at the next craft fair!

Shadow Boxes
Layered, lit, and handcrafted with more patience than our goats have ever shown.
Milk Stands
Strong, handmade, goat-approved… and also heavy enough that we make people pick them up in person.
Goat Feeders, Stands & Custom Builds
If you can dream it, we can probably build it. Unless it requires us to find a tool we lost in 2023.
Our Build Philosophy
1. Use good wood.

2. Use good tools.
3. Don’t let goats walk across the project while it’s drying.

4. Stand back and admire what we made before the goats chew on it.
Everything we make is:
built by hand
sanded smooth
sealed or stained by request
made right here in our farm woodshop

Each item is a little different — because it’s handmade, not “scroll through 400 identical ones on Amazon.”

Customization? Absolutely.
Need a special stain?
Want a custom size?
Want a name wood-burned into the piece?
You got it.
Just send us a message and we’ll make it happen (unless you ask us to build a life-size wooden goat… then we’ll negotiate).
Shipping & Pickup
Small items ship anywhere in the U.S.
Large items (like milk stands) are farm pickup only, unless you want to discuss freight shipping.
(We can do it, but it’s basically shipping a small wooden car.)

These stationary feeders are a great addition to your barn. They feature 4 way feeding allowing the goats to utilize all sides of the feeder to eat. This also helps with food aggressive goats, as they cannot see all the way around the feeder to prevent others in the herd from eating.
The one pictured (top) holds 4 bales of hay. The one pictured under holds 1 to 1-1/2 bales. These can be modified in size ranging from holding 1 bale and up.
Prices range from $225 and up depending on the size.

We offer 2 options for disbudding/Tattoo boxes. You can choose from the metal (pictured) or the wooden headpiece.
Prices for the disbudding/tattoo boxes are as follows:
